Advice? Iowa City H2O Parameters and Pressure

    Just doing some research on RO/DI systems and was wondering what people are getting for readings of both TDS and pressure in Iowa City. I found a post from four years ago that said 30 TDS out of the tap but nothing more recent.

    Lol wish mine was 30tds from the tap. Here in new London it's over 700tds from the tap!

    The Des Moines Water Works publishes a yearly report about the water quality on a month by month basis. I looked briefly on the IC water quality and there were several reports available but was taking too long to download so didn't let it finish. Perhaps you have already done this but I believe they are required to publish the information at least annually and its at least worth a look. Good luck.

    Yeah, I was able to find last year's report from the IC Water Works of what their water tested at. While it gave a lot of information it really didn't get me the info I was looking for. Honestly I was just seeing what local reefers were getting for a baseline out of their taps but I am probably just going to invest in a handheld TDS meter so I can spot check it myself. Just another gadget to add to the list. :) Just keep telling my wife that we really do 'need' all this stuff.
