Iowa pets and seascapes

My post is focused on people expecting to be pampered. and nothing is focused toward seascapes specifically. I mentioned an actual post about someone upset that an eel was eating their fish!

But since more cans were opened up:

Petco does not hold a market for reef keeping. They dedicate maybe 5% to aquariums and maybe 1% to salt. They don't give a f about salt and will never see them support this hobby unless it's market share becomes large which is unlikely because, unlike dogs, our reef inhabitants require pristine water at 70-80°F with specific flow rates, backup power for outtages and daily pampering. Now a dog or cat (the market share for Petco is HUGE) can survive -10 to 100+°F given shelter, food, water, shots once a year and a poop cleaning party after the frost melts. They're cheap and easy for people with busy lives. Which all leads into, you have to really be giving the dog a crap inviroment, beyond obsene conditions, for it to die or get close to dieing. Fish dies after transported to new tank vs dog died chained to post in open yard on sunny 110° day without water.

Being a manager that oversee people working in a food facility is not operating a pet goods retail business. For one sisco has a guaranteed market, food everyone needs. Not a hobby. That's like me saying I put for traffic lights at an intersection and so I'm qualified to wire the damn things. You call the guy that wires things
