Most of your fish are pretty small. I don't think you're anywhere near overstocked, especially with beefy filtration. It is my opinion you can afford to add more fish to that tank.

I think you would be ok to add those fish. Just make sure you do it only 1 or 2 at a time over a couple of months. Don't wanna increase the bio load to quickly.

Only thing I see a problem with is adding a kole tang to a tank with two other tangs who probably have established territories. You may see some aggression between them. Also even though they have established territories now throwing another in the mix may make them start fighting.

    Just my 2 cents

I think you're fine. Though you may have issues with the kole tang addition. They are pretty timid compared to sailfins and yellows from what Ive seen and will be competing for grazing rights, but it could end up working.

Oh and with the chromis. You could put in 20 and you would still end up with 1 after about 6 months so don't even count them haha.

    My 120 has
    1 Med Yellow Tang
    1 Melanarus Wrasse
    4 BG Chromis
    5 Pajama Cardinals
    1 Bangaii
    2 Clowns
    1 Clown Goby
    12 Lyretail Anthias

They are all piggies but the tank does well.

The only thing I would be watchful of is the tangs. Sailfins can get big, Kole and Yellow not so much, but those are your main bioload contributors.

I would love to see some photos of these 120 gallon tanks. I feel like there isn't enough water volume in mine to support my fish, but I want more "activity" to look at. I probably have way more live rock than most.

    My 120 has:
1 Hippo tang (will need to go somewhere else in a couple of year)
    1 Purple tang
    2 Clownfish
    1 Royal Gramma
    1 McCoskers flasher wrasse
1 Lyretail Anthias (stupid Diver's Den sent me 3, but 2 showed signs of injury/illness when they arrived 3 weeks ago and didn't make it past 2 days)
    1 Coral Beauty
    1 Eibli dwarf angel
    1 Auriga butterfly

I would love a flame angel again, but the stupid Coral Beauty chased my last one and so it ended up starving. By the time I noticed that it was getting thin, it was too late. All 3 dwarfs angels went in at the same time too.

Funny thing is that even with several fish that are not reef safe, none of them pick at the few piddly corals I have.

I would love to have more fish, but I think that I will need to reduce my rock level, and aquascaping is never a fun job.

I think you will be just fine adding those fish.

Agreed with what has been said already. Adding a tang now would probably cause problems with the established tangs. The chromis will drop down to 1 over time (been there myself with a different tank over 12 years ago).

Here is a quick video after I added my anthias to show how much rock is in my 120. I just fed them, and the glass is dirty, but I am out of town and this was the only video I had to upload to YouTube.

If you scan back far enough, there are some videos of GIRS members tanks from a couple of years ago too.
