Is this Aptasia?

I've got two zoa frags from Spring Fest that have a very, very small something or other.  I've dug out my books, and it looks nothing like what they show for Aptasia, plus its too small.  Then I did an internet search, and found pictures of a ton of stuff...but not this.
Its awfully dang small, so this is the best pic I could get:

Its the brownish stuff to the left corner of it...its about 1/8th inch high, and has 8 "arms" with several branches on them.
Anyone know of a good close up of the real stuff?  The Aptasia I've seen in real life are much larger.

I decided to play it safe, and scrape them off. From what I hear, waiting would have made it impossible if it were Aptasia.

Now to see if I managed to get all of 'em.

 

Well, orange and green, but I'm talking about the brown only patch on the lower left. Its a terrible picture I know....

But it would appear they were hydroids.
