Jawfish

    So  LA has the blue spotted jawfish on sale...  he's been on my stock list.  Anybody have experience with them?

    I have never had one but I hear they like to dig alot. And I beleave they are jumpers. You might want to ask waverz he had one giveing him troble a few weeks ago.

    We have a gorgeous one for $100 at the omaha petland. he's perfect! digs a lot but radiant. if i had a deeper sand bed i would go for him myself!

    omg! i love it!!!!!! i bet that helps from him making a mess of the sand. i will definitely have to get one, or even him! i am sure i could SQUEEEEEZE that in somewhere!

    wow that is awesome! great idea.... especially since i would need to add to sand bed... this would save that..

    So my jawfish will be here tomorrow.  Here are pics of the home I made him based on the nano thread...  Hopefully he will like it!

    I got my jawfish today. he is awesome. he's eating and seems to be adapting... but not in his home... :-( ( when i put him in the tank i didn't get my container exactly over the home so he swam under the rim ....)

    he has made his home between 2 rocks so if i go to the nano side i can see him him.... the rock has a natural hole so at least he didn't dig a new hole.. i'm hoping he'll go for a swim in the next couple of days and he'll move in to his new home.

    But for now he seems happy and doesn't even hide when he sees me and i did see him eat... which i always consider a good sign

    But hey at least he is out and about!  he is very calm  doesn't even hide when i come up to the tank...
