Here's a few pics of my 90 Gallon that I'm building.

    It's a Deep Sea Aquatics Model 90 Pro Tank/Stand/Canopy

The system is up and running as of a couple days ago. I'm taking my time so it will probably be a while before I have any livestock. For now I'm just letting the system cycle. I'll probably add sand and do my main aquascaping soon.

It currently has a Tunze Nano-Wavebox and 2 Tunze 6055 Nanostreams being controlled by my Apex plus a couple of Tunze 6025's for a bit of extra flow. I plan to replace all of those pumps with a couple of Vortech MP40's sometime in the future.

The lighting is dual AI Vega Colors currently controlled with an AI Director. I'll probably switch to the Apex AWM Module and Fusion Software are released.

I tore my sump completly down and got it all cleaned up. My combination frag tank/refugium is hosting all of my recently cooked liverock until I get my aquascaping done. My old system had a seperate refugium with a deep sand bed. This time I'm just going to keep my extra live rock below the frag rack and I'll add a space below for some cheato. I have a plan to create a remote deep sandbed using left over salt buckets.

Last but not least, I completely rewired my entire control system. My old system had kind of grew over time and had turned into a major rats nest. Now I have almost every device (or group of devices) on it's own controlled outlet (and best of all, it's all documented).

That's it for now. I'll post some more pics once I get the sand in and the aquascaping done.

Thanks all, I'm looking forward to getting some livestock in it eventually. I think it's going to be a pretty awesome tank when it's done!

    Looks great!

Hard to tell by the first pic - will this be bare bottom?

The display tank is going to have a shallow sand bed. I don't really care for the look of bare bottom or DSB in a display tank.

Good job with the wiring. It's no fun not knowing which cable is which.

I really like the dimensions on that tank. Can't wait to see it packed full of corals.

Not really. I've been so busy at work lately that I haven't had the time or energy to make any progress on it. The good news is that the tank is completely cycled and ready for livestock.
Maybe this weekend I'll be able to get the aquascaping done. If I can get over that hump I'll probably make a lot more progress.

    Some progress today.

I decided to use a fairly small amount of rock in my display tank and left a lot of it in my refugium/sump.

It's amazing how much you can do with a few zip ties and a masonry bit.

I'm going to test the water in a bit and if everything is good, I might add a damsel or two and maybe a few inverts.

Really like it, everything looks great. I think your choice for rockwork will really payoff when some corals start growing. Can't wait to see it stocked!

Yeah, I learned the "too much rock" and "too close to the glass" lessons last time around. That and to be a lot more picky about what types of corals I put in the tank.

I did put in a few damsels today and a selection of inverts (snails, serpent start, emerald, etc). It's nice to see the tank with a little life in it. I fragged a little piece of LPS from my nano and added it. I can't believe how different it looks under the AI Vega's. It really pops. I think I'm going to love those lights!
