wondering if there's anyone out there that has a Jebao return pump with controller and if so how has it been working and if he had any problems with it? Thanks

I have the 6000. Been problem free for over a year now, I think. Nice and quiet and the control ability is great. The only thing I would like better is to be able to control it with my apex. Some of the other DC pumps I believe you can, but I don't think the jebaos can.

Seen a video on YouTube and when it was put in feed mode it turn off and when it turn back on the pump reset to the lowest speed. Does that happen?

I use mine for water changes. It does not reset to lowest speed it goes back to what it was set at.

I have had the 12000 DC Jeabo since about November, I use the feed button all the time, no issues but I also keep mine on the lowest setting so I don't know if it resets.

I have the Jebao DC 3000. I was originally going to use it as a return on my 75 gallon but it is undersized for the head height and the flow was slightly not enough. I use it instead on my L2 algae scrubber at 3 bars of power and it works great, it worked well on my previous DIY scrubber too. Never any issues. It saves the power level it was set up for if the power goes out, you put it in feed mode or you disconnect it. It also ramps the speed up slowly when adjusting it or plugging it back in.

I had a 3000 on my 110 as a return pump. It lasted about a year and a half then started having issues. I was told that there was a design flaw on the older models that has been rectified. (The 3000 I had was branded speedwave or waveline, can't remember.) I currently have the Jebao 6000 and has been working good for about 6 months.
They are super quiet and I really like the controllability.
I will say that they need to be cleaned more frequently than the regular non dc pumps I used to run. After 2 months of no cleaning, the flow loss is noticable.

When my sump was under my tank I ran the jaebo 12000 for around a year and only problem I had was every now and then a stray snail would get sucked in and I would have to remove it. The 12000 doesn't come with a screen like the 6000 so I put some 1/4 screen over intake and problem solved. I would buy again if I had a sump under my tank but sump is in basement and these pumps aren't made for much head pressure. I ran it on 4th speed setting and pump was quiet.

Ive been thinking of switching to one of these. In the reading I did their older model has a DC number. The newer and what is suppose to be a high quality line is the DCT.
