    well,i have to admit,i am pleasantly surprised at how nice,powerful and quiet this thing is.just received it today.got it plumbed in and am really happy.as for the longevity of these i can not say but i am really happy now!

    Ive been thinking about getting them. Right now i use pond pumps. 1900gph for the skimmer, then 2 1200gph for the frag tanks and main tank. I think its time to pull the trigger and get these

    Dc pumps rock I have a waveline dc12000 for my return pump and a dc 10000 for my skimmer.

    need to get more flow thru my sump,i can only run it on second setting or it sucks my return section dry lol.

    I've got a dct13000, have only tested it in a sink, but, it'll definitely move some water. I like that they are tunable without having to put a call valve in line and deadhead the pump.
