June meeting

I think it would be cool to have a BBQ and just talk tanks :0) Sometimes it just helps to sit in a relaxed atmosphere and questions pop into mind. We could do potluck :0)

 

I agree - a barbecue sounds like a good idea. We don't have to wait until summer or fall for it.


Another idea would be for a trip to the Omaha zoo for a behind the scenes look at the aquarium. It takes more set-up/planning time for that - but it might be an idea for later in the year..

 

I like the Idea of the Omaha zoo. would love to see this.

 

I think grilling / barbeque woudl be great.

I go to omaha zoo once a year at least, and would love to see a behind the scene tour of the aquarium if that is possible.

 

There was a GIRS behind the scenes tour last September and it was pretty cool.

 

I couldn't make it to last years' Behind the Scenes Aquarium tour :9( so I am hoping we will have it again this year :0)

For some reason I'm subscribed and am not getting notifications? Anyway, I need to check the calendar and will get back with a date :0) The BBQ sounds great!

I'm thinking ahead for other things :0) I know some time back at one of our meetings (maybe the XMas Party) I mentioned having a (regional) frag swap. Is this something that members' are interested in? I 'm just thinking on a smaller scale/nothing fancy. No speakers, no food, etc. Just a fun time for everyone to share their frags in the area :0) Maybe we could do this in August since there's no July meeting. It might give us plenty of time to frag and heal them before the meet? What's everyone think?

Sounds like a good time. The 20th works for me, but the 27th does not. But sounds like the 27th works better for more people. Unfortunately no date will work for everyone..

 

45 yr class reunion on the 27th...wish I could be there. Have a great time everyone!! :0)
