June Meeting

    Okay now is the time for the June meeting to start getting put together. It has been thrown around that the 24th could be a possible date. What does everyone think of this? Would a weekend day work better for more people? Please post and let me know either way.
    We are planning on having a fragging demonstration. People are encouraged to bring in their own corals that they would like fragged and either we can show you how or you just do it for you as a demonstration.
    Gered has graciously offered to bring some frags to give away to new members. So if there are any new people in the area now is the time to get involved and get some free frags!
    We might also have a drawing for a free coral so that everyone has a chance to win something.

    A weekend day would work alot better for me. Let me know if theres anything i can do to help out. I dont have any corals that are really big enouph to be fragged yet.

    How about everyone just reply with Weekday, Weekend day or Weekend Evening so we know when to plan this. I would really love to make this meeting but if we end up during the week I will be out due to working out of town a lot.

    So my vote is weekend day or evening.

    Aww man, you guys took my idea! Me and Casey are in the planning stages on having a coral fragging demonstration on July 10th.

    I'm taking care of the UNI tank right now and we have a bunch of huge colonies that need fragged, so I was hoping to get some trades for anything we frag to diversify the school tank.

    Hopefully your guys event goes good and we aren't competing with one another! haha

    Im in for a Satuday or Sunday during the day, but I gotta get out of there around 3 or so!

    Week night works best for me.  For the weekend, only Saturday day works for me, but not June 19th.

    My vote would be for a weekday as that would be easiest - however I would more than likely be able to attend a weekend meeting as well.

    Well there is no majority vote either way so not sure what to do. If someone steps up to do some fragging demonstration then we can go with the set date of the 24th and I can try arranging for someone to pick up the pieces I donated. Otherwise we will have to move it to the 26th or 27th.

    Please everyone need to hear your input. I want to make it so everyone who wants to come has an opportunity to come.

    Okay well it looks like the majority has finally swung to be on the weekend. We will have the meeting on the 26th with the time and place to be determined. The backup if we can not find another place to go will be at my house in Waukee. Aquaillumination is going to let me borrow a coulple demo units and I will have them running on my tank by the meeting if anyone would like to check them out and is interested.

    I hope that everyone can take some time to make it to the meeting and maybe get some free frags out of it. It should be a good time.
