   I have been trying to figure out if the Kalkwasser or Two part method is better. Just not sure which is easier or gets better results. BRS is full of information but getting more confused.

   I think it depends on the needs of the reef. If your calcium and alk demands are not that high, and using Kalk in your top off water meets those demands that is definitely a very easy, yet effective method to supplement.
   I'd say if your tank is mostly LPS and not jam packed with corals I would give kalk a go first. Its very cheap. Just toss a few spoonfuls in your ato resevoir and let it do its thing. If you find out its not meeting your tanks demands you can look at dissolving more using vinegar or look at two part dosing.
