    I was in Miami last winter and noticed that they did use it for landscaping around there. The walkways at the zoo were lined with 2 to 3 foot pieces.

    We were at a resort in Mexico a few years ago and all the sidewalks were edged with LPS coral skeletons. Kind of made me cringe.

    I have never seen it used up here for that! I just thought someone did not know what it was. Funny.... think of how much we pay for it. Bet it is cheaper down there!

    Definitely looks like mined florida rock used in SW tanks :0)

    A couple pics I took at the Miami Zoo. There were big chunks of what looked like the mined dry rock everywhere.

    It is a nice zoo but it is huge. I think they said it is 340 acres. We walked it for 4 hours and I don't think we covered half of it.
