Last time or Ebay! WTB AC3

    I want an AC3.  I have decided its worth the investment to do this right the first time.  Anyone selling?

    Don't forget the hardware forum on RC, usually better deals than Ebay. Atleast when I bought mine.

    Agree....there have been a couple on there in the last couple of days. There's an AC3 Pro on there with a temp probe, pH probe, DC8 and AquaNotes for $385.  Considering it's the Pro model, that's not bad if you need the Pro features.  A search of the forum showed an AC3 with temp probe, pH probe, DC8 went for $200 back in August (smokin' deal!).
    Prices have come down on the AC3s recently.  You should be able to get a AC3 with temp, pH and DC8 for between $300 to $350 shipped.  Additional DC8s are still running around $100 shipped.

    I dont disagree with you all but I am months away from being able to see the hardware forum on RC. I dont understand why they want to keep new people out. If someone wants to track one down for me I would appreciate it but I am not sure how to get around there posts/time requirements.

    Well, go out to RC and start making 10 posts a day in the various forums. In a week, you should be able to access it.

    Even if I post my 50 I have to wait 90 days. I am not trying to argue, it's just frustrating when everyone tells me there are awesome deals and I am not allowed to get them. Not sure what to do.

    I am joining GIRS and like it because it is helpful, I Just dont understand why RC wants to keep people out. What good does it do keeping a potential buyer out? I need this before 90 days is up.

    Well, I can't answer for or understand all of the reasons why RC is run the way it is. I can only answer for what we can control...and that is the GIRS buy/sell. We have implemented guidelines and a feedback forum for the best possible experience, but in the mean time, I can only control what is related to GIRS. Sorry!!! I doubt that you will get a better answer from the RC folks since they are known for being less than accommodating. I understand where you're coming from since I had less than 50 posts at the time that they implemented this policy less than a year ago (despite the fact that I had been registered on the site for 2+ years)...so I share your frustration.
