I ordered a Workhorse 7 ballast, Ice cap t5 reflectors, clips and end caps, 2 GE 6.5k bulbs, 1 Giesemann Aquablue plus and 1 Giesemann pure actinic, and some salt.

 

Setting up a small side tank to stash some of the overgrowing corals.

 

I got in all my boxes today.  5 total including some bigger ones.   Now, how do I hide them from the old lady without her knowing?

 

I put the workhorse 7, endcaps and clips in with my other fish stuff in a tote box. She hasn't noticed the boxed reflectors and bulbs yet that I half way hid behind my 48" halide unit.

She has absolutely no interest in the tanks or the hobby in general. So she won't notice the difference from what I had to what I'll set up. Nothing a little, "I took this apart and redid it" won't cure.
