Ok, so I'm confused and would like a general consensus from the gallery.

I went to a LFS and saw they had a lawnmower blenny. I was told that they are not reef safe. When I look at Liveaquaria.com they say they are, but they "may" nip at clam mantles and sps corals. I have neither of those. I'm wondering if my zoas and palys will be ok or if I should stay away from this fish.

I have had no issues in my tank with the one I had. He ate algae and any other food I placed in the tank. If there is not a substantial amount of algae to graze on he may turn to other things but I am not sure since it never happened in my tank. I have palys, zoas and some SPS and all were unharmed as far as I could tell.

I have 3 of them in different tanks everything is fine. I have all different kinds of corals and haven't seen any harm to them. They are a cool little fish

Mine never caused any trouble with any coral. But mine did turn out to be a jumper and I didn't find him in time /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/sad.gif

I did not think they were jumpers. So that is where mine may have disappeared to. Thought the Serpart Star may have got him or something. Need to check behind the tank.

the only trouble i have had with lawnmower blenny's is when they go after/fight and sometimes kill other blenny's
