LED DIY Meeting Success!

    First off I would like to personally thank Andy McClure from MakersLED for taking the time to come down and do a presentation on how to get a DIY LED fixture up and going from Start to finish. I think he did a great job and is a great asset to this club.

    2nd off as most of you know we raffled off the fixture we got to do for the Meeting. Thank you everyone that came and made this a successful event.





    And the winner is??? Drum roll please ........ Justin or incuplayer (Right) as he goes by on Girs!

    Was a great meeting. I know I learned a lot, and am much more comfortable tackling my own LED fixture. The fixture we put together, although we didn't get it fully assembled, was so nice and easy. Solderless LEDs and MakersLED heatsink and drivers are the way to go IMO. And their new 5 channel driver they are working on is going to be awesome for those wanting more channels of control.

    Congrats on winning the fixture Justin - Can't beat showing up to a meeting and walking out with a $200+ DIY light fixture.

    I didn't see this other post. Again tanks to Andy for teaching how to hook everything up, and thanks to the club for the raffled system.
