Good afternoon, curious if everyone would think I could get a 24 inch LED light fixture over a 30 inch cube and not have dark areas? Keeping in mind not only the 3 inches on each side but also the 30 inches front to back. Thinking of the Current USA Orbt Marine Pro LED 24" to 36". Wife wants the sleek look of a fixture and not a hanging kit.

I talked to someone that had a 40 breeder with the 36 inch light she said it wasnt enough you would need two for a 40 breeder.

Current orbit marine light is slim and sleek but IMO the PAR sucks I'd find a better light

They have tank mounts for the hydra 26. Also i love the look of my ai primes with tank mounts. The primes are on sale right now also on saltwateraquarium.com

I have radion xr30 pros over my 93 cubes. One over each. My tanks dimensions are 30x30x24 tall and it lights it perfectly.

+1 RadionXR30 lights the 93 perfect. I run the arm mount also.

    Thanks for all the responses.
Radion XR30 is rated for less than a 20 inch tank, and at $550 each it is also the most expensive.
Photon 24 is second most at $330, but only need one
Hydra 26, similar to the Radion is rated for tanks less than 20 inch at $270
AI Prime, rated for an 18 inch tank but least expensive per at $180 and an interesting wifi feature.

So out of these it looks like 2 AI Primes would be best. But at a total of $360 for 2 may cause me to spread out the purchases to protect the wallet. Am I correct on the above?

I have to have my obligatory plug for the Kessil A360W. It's wide so it should work with the coverage.

The radions are rated at a 30x30 spread and I don't think you will get as much par at a deeper level with the primes. If you went with ai you would be better served with a pair of hydra 26's
