Well I obtained a few frags from a generous Reefer, and noticed that the skirts of these Zoas glow pretty bright with my "night lights" (leds on the Halide) so I'm curious, what would be the best way to get a few more of these blue LEDs over the tank for day time to help make them "glow" at all hours? I'm looking for brands/price/quality. Eventually I will probably get a freaking Kessil cos everybody raves about them and when I budget enough (I'm a frugal man) I'll bite the bullet and full switch to LEDs, but for now I have a 150w 14k on my tank, just looking for some supplemental lighting to bring out more color at a budget conscience price

    Any advice is appreciated!!!

My advice is DON'T switch to full led. Get some reef brite strips like Terri said. Or go to build my led website they have actinic strips and I have heard good things about them. I personally have a reef brite with my t5 on my frag tank and I really like it.

Those reefbrites are pricey lil devils, I'm probably going to keep my Halide for now, I mean I have it already, and I've got some other stuff I need to do before I dive face first into the hobby (like payoff a car and get a new house!)
