I bought a pack of frozen silversides last night and forgot to put them in the frezzer /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/pinch.gif. They were never opened but did thaw out completely and are room temp. Are they ok to frezze and use still??

    Thanks!

I would say no problem. Fishes stomachs are much tougher then ours.

Think of the ocean, lots of those fish are eating dead decaying other fish, clams, etc

I've done that with krill and fed them without issue. What sucks is they are no longer individual frozen, so chipping them out of the giant ice cube they re-freeze in is a real pain in the ***.

I agree, Nick. I think many of us have left things out longer than we planned! lol

Should be fine, if you are really worried next time you thaw one for feeding just take a smell - they never smell good but if you notice rotting smell ditch them. Like I said they should be fine, most "bad" microbes don't grow well or at all with fridge temps.
