Anyone have any experience with Leopard Wrasse? ...good or bad experiences.  Were you ever able to transition to flake/frozen foods, or did they primarily eat pods/live?

I bought one at Petco about 2 years ago, not knowing they were hard to keep. But put it in the tank and it started eating from the start. I feed it mysis shrimp and rods fish food. The tank is a 55 gal stocked with lots of live rock and soft corals. It is housed with a purple tang , 3 clowns, and 2 cleaner shrimp and they all get along fine. It is one of my favorite fish.

Wow...2 years...and, from Petco...that's pretty encouraging. I've wanted a Leopard, but it's rated as "expert" by Liveaquaria.

Ive gotten several to eat through out the years at the store. If you are having troubles getting them to eat get them on feeder ghost shrimp and then fatened back up and then try the shrimp again.

So, is LiveAquaria just paranoid? It sounds like it's not so difficult !

I would say about a third has died. But if ordering from divers den it has been eating for 2 weeks with a 2 week guarantee. I would say odds should be pretty good.
