    I noticed over on the Quad Cities group page they had a thread where folks posted some info about themselves and I thought that might be a cool thing to do over here. Maybe it's been done, I don't know. Maybe this could be a sticky or something. But at any rate, I've met a lot of great folks here and I think it'd be cool to know more about the folks in our area, even if they can't make it to meetings or post on the forum all that much.

    I'll put a few questions below. Maybe we can each respond and put in some answers, maybe a tank pic and a picture of yourself, so we can put faces to screen names. Copy and paste the list below,

    Where are you from?: Morgantown, WV. Lived in New York City for 11 years before coming to IC for grad school.

    Job?: Director of the Writing and Humanities Program at the UI Carver College of Medicine

    Years in the hobby: 1+ in SW. Had FW for a long time, but not seriously

    Current tank size: 135 DT, 50 Sump

    Inhabitants: Sailfin, tang, purple tang, kole tang, yellow tang(rip), koran angel, 8 chromis, 2 blue streak damsels, true perc, tomato clown, 2 urchins, 4 or 5 dozen snails, dozen giant hermit crabs, and probably something else i am missing. I also have a huma huma trigger in my sump

    Current tank size:75gal DT with little of SPS,LPS and yellow Tang, Hippo Tang,Tomini Tang,two clowns,Bicolor Angel,yellow goby w/pistol shrimp and two blue Damsels. OH and a Firefish and Pepperment shrimps along with a coral banded shrimp.

    Also have a 40breeder with two clowns,6 line wrasse,Marine Gramma,Green clown Goby, star blenny and a Sailfin tang. Some Frags of differing flavers.

    Current tank size: 250g display, 125 sump + separate 20 gallon tank with two small clowns


    Inhabitants: Yellow, purple, sailfin, yellow belly blue, blond naso tangs , niger trigger, engineer goby, yellow watchmen goby and pistol shrimp, coral beauty, flame angel, Trio of McCoskers flasher wrasse, lubbocks wrasse, cleaner wrasse, handful of anthias. I think I got them all.


    Something folks should know about you: My other hobby/moneypit is my truck a 2005 toyota tacoma X-runner. I am also part owner and admin of the X-runner enthusiasts forum xr-underground.com
