You have some very poignant inquiries, please allow me to answer some of your questions.

ZOO2
Tisbe sp. is a true tropical species of copepod. This pod is the most adapted to a captive reef. They reproduce well when provided with a refugium and plenty of phytoplankton. Unfortunately, they will ultimately get eaten faster than they can reproduce in a closed system and should be recharged twice a year or so. Also unfortunate is they are really needy compared to other pods. They need to be kept at room temp. and fed every five days in the jar. Just for clarification, Aqua-Tech Co. was the first to introduce captive cultured Tisbe sp in 2006. Research showed it was the best for captive reefs in aquaculture. Several other companies have tried to make the claim.

Phyto2

Phyto2's 16oz Multi-Pack is the best selling in the Phyto2 line. That said, often users start with the smaller packs and ultimately move up to even gallon sizes. As for shelf life. If the product is shaken at least twice (we prefer three times) weekly, a shelf life of four months can be expected under refrigeration. If you leave the product out even up to 48-72 hours, there will be only minor effect to the product if in temps below 79˚ F. The Phyto is alive and will only lose a small amount of its nutrition, but not die. Other products cannot advertise this as they are already most dead product.

We will not be bringing salt as there were no preorders. For a FYI, we must order the Fritz RPM salt by the pallet. A pallet is 40 200g boxes. Because there were no preorders, we didn't order the salt. It is a great salt! Many reefers have switched from Red sea Coral Pro, IO, and other salts to RPM because of its consistency, price point etc.. In the future, if we have enough interest to order it, we will do so! We will post a thread in the future about a preorder. We will do everything we can to get this salt for you!
