LF Tank for Elementary School

    My 7 year old daughers teacher and I are working on getting a saltwater setup in the classroom to be the center of some experiments and lessons on life in the ocean. I'm looking to buy or trade some corals (PM me for details on that) for the following:
    8 or 14 gallon biocube or similiar, not sure if I need the stand yet, but probably not
    live rock 10 - 15 pounds max
    some live sand, would like at least a few cups of live sand and I will provide the rest, I wanna get it as diverse as I can, spaghetti works, bristle works etc are a plus
    I will provide livestock and all items for maint and the maint itself. I wanna keep this as cheap as I can because it is all out of my pocket, but I would like to do it as nice as possible. This will likely be put back in the classroom next year again for the entire year, so it will probably get moved to my house over the summer.

    You want spaghetti worms, my tank is a pasta factory. I could give you a couple little rocks that are full of 'em.

    I live in Clive and have some very live sand and a few rocks you can have.  I have a couple of different colored mushrooms and some yellow polyps if you want them.  Just PM me if you are interested.

    Awesome, you guys rock, thanks for the replies! I'm gonna sit down tonight or tomorrow night and get a list of stuff made up and who has what, I will probably just send PMs to make arrangements for me picking stuff up. Thanks again! Just in case anyone else has kids that go there, this will be going in at Novak school over in Marion.

    Let me know if you want some biological life in the form of zooplankton you can see on the tank glass just think it would be cool for kids to see the sea is ran by a system that starts with plankton and without it the sea and earth would have no human or animal life! It has been proven without the forest of the sea (phytoplankton ) oxygen levels on the earth would not be sufficient to support any animal or creature relying on large amounts of oxygen it is now be leaved that almost half of the worlds oxygen comes from millions of acres of greenwater blooming on the top 10' of the ocean surface! 319-981-4666 Jeremy

    Sweet thanks Jeremy, I will most definately be getting ahold of you, I need more green water and stuff as well : ) I forgot to add, this tank is going in Ms Potters first grade class at Novak, not sure if anyone else has kids there or not. I will also try to get pictures as I go.
