    My son bougth OceanWonders marineland cube (27 or 29 gallon?) I need to order him new lights. The lighting is one metal halide? and 2-t5's I think. He wants good quality and wants to get "more Blue". Anyone help me with this. I want a great brand and spectrum. Thanks.

    If you are not sure what lights you have then thats the first thing you need to figure out. Try reading it off the bulb. Need to know watts if T5s or Power Compact and if you have double ended(HQI) or one end(mogul) MH.  
    I like the look of the 20k Radium MH with actinic to supplement more blue. Knowing what you have will help to make that choice. A 14k may be a step bluer then you have now and will give you a little better growth. -Josh

    150w double ended and 18" t-5 with a wh5 ballast. right now has reflux 12k and then 30w super actinic t5's

    I here a Hamilton 14k is a nice blue. Some ballast can't fire radiums, this is info coming from the owner of a beautiful 29g biocube. The one your buying possibly? Hope that helps. [code] [/code]
