I have a 75 gallon tank with 2 150 watt double ended HQI metal halide for lighting. I am looking to upgrade or replace the light bulbs. Not sure if
what brand is deemed the best. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also in the hunt for a skimmer. Let me know!!

If you want to upgrade, I would go with two 250s. Not sure whats best, HQIs or single ended. If you want to just switch bulbs I would choose something between 15000 to 20000k range. Good crisp white and blue colors. If you stay with the 150s you could always suplement with some other bulbs to get the color you want.

When you say upgrade, are you just talking newer bulbs or the whole setup? Looks like everyone is telling you to go the 250 route, but I took it as you wanting a recommendation for new bulbs?
