    Looking for one of these guys any one know a good local store near CV that will carry/order one for me?





    Dendrochirus zebra or brachypterus


    or a Pterois antennata

    You don't see those very often, but Sea of Marvel in CV can probably get them

    I second the fish shack in Manchester. His tanks are clean. Salinity is good as well; you won't have to start at .018 and drip up for 2 weeks like fish from petco. Was in there last thursday and he had a lion. Not sure what species.

    Fish shack sounds like the place. Will have to make a day trip out of it to keep the Mrs happy!

    I would suggest you call them first. The owner is Bill Bolls. Great guy - will get you anything you want - or at least try. If you're looking for a Dendrochirus zebra or brachypterus or a Pterois antennata, and not a commonly found Volitan or Russells, you might need to wait until one is available. They are not stocked on a regular basis.

    I can vouch for Fish Shack. I've bought a lot of stuff from Bill over the years. He will work with you on fish, tanks, stands, whatever. The Volitan I recently sold came from Bill....awesome fish and very very healthy. Sold it only because I changed the contents of the tank.
