so i was looking around my tank tonight and realized there are these little tadpole looking things swimming round under one of my frag rocks.  they swim like fish but dont look exactly like fish.  i can't get a good picture or video.  i even tried under the macro setting and everything.  they are pretty small.  bout 4 of them.....what could they be????

Are they amphipods? Also, look closely if the tadpole like round part is part of a egg sac or something? This would give you a better idea of what it will look like once the "sac" is absorbed, if that is the case.

Small fry look alot like tadpoles so the could be fish. Do you have any mature pairs of fish?

I would highly doubt if they are any type of fish.

It is very hard to get them growing in a breeding set up, let alone a reef tank.

My guess would be some type of pod or invert.

    Get us a pic

i wish i could get a pic. my camera is waterproof but i cant get it focused underneath the rock. it sucks i tried for quite a while the other night. they dont seem to be doing any harm so i'll let them be for now. they will prolly dissapear when i move tanks
