Bought a small piece of live rock from Petscapes yesterday and it seems to have a tiny bubble tip anemone in one of its crevices. I was using the rock to start the cycle on a new tank. Any tips on how I might keep this little guy alive? He opens up several times a day and then backs into cave ish spot.

Sure it is a bubbletip and not a manjo?

yeah when i first seen the manjo I thought it was a bubble tip too. They are not, but look very cool in a bad way.

    Great...

At least my tank has barely been up a week. Can I just dig him out or do I need use something like kalk to kill him. Or I can take the rock out if there is something "external" I can do to remove him?

You have to be careful if you're going to try and remove it manually. If you don't get all of it with one try, the remnants can bud off and reproduce another anemone if not a lot more. It seems as if a thick kalk paste would work the best. Kalk paste and early reaction to getting rid of it should keep it from multiplying like crazy.
