locline Question

    I am working on a frag tank and want to use loc-line.
    I was going to buy the parts at marine depot but they want to charge 30 bucks for the pilers.
    My question is can i get them put together without the expense pliers

    I've heard that if you are a wuss then you need the pliers :) but you really shouldn't i personally haven't tried and i am a wuss ( 125lbs soaking wet )

    Heat it up in some boiling water and helps them slide together nicely. I always use this method and it works great. Just dont do it too long. I just do a quick dip and thats all.

    thanks I won't plan on buy them


    I did get a tank from that guy on ebay. I got him down like 40 bucks least than the list price

    Shoot me a link to the one you got. If you want any extra holes drilled ask him and he will do it for no charge. I am hoping to have mine setup here soon. I think I got the last of my plumbing tonight and got my new return pump for my whole system.

    here is the one i got all tho he send me an email saiding he has one that is almost 2" width that we will send me for the same price
