   I bought a long tentacle today, it is huge. Wondering if there is a way to tell when it is getting ready to split?

   Unlike a bubble tip, they rarely split, just get bigger & bigger. Dinner plate size or bigger easily

   I've got one too that's pretty big, never heard of one splitting in captivity. there was a guy on RC last year that claimed his did, but never backed it up with pics. I have see one almost 2 feet across before, and that was in a 90 gal corner tank.
