Ok i will start off with i have not a clue in the world about them. I m finally getting my Reef set up going and its full of LPS, SPS. It has been up and running for a year now. Need to know where to go next. I know i should know all this but i read and read and read but i can't get a grasp on what i need to do. I am not a read it and apply it type of person. Im a walk me through what i should be doing and looking for and bam we are good to go. Willing to even pay someone to walk me through how to use it and so one. Let me know thanks.

I have the Reefkeeper Lite and Apex (complete). I think the Reefkeeper is easier to learn (although their manual is almost useless), cheaper and because I have the Lite, not as high tech. The Apex has many users (here, forums, etc), a great manual, is expensive and has great technical/customer service. I'd suggest getting with a reefkeeper that has each and and see how they run/work. IMO that's your best bet :0) Although I can't think of it offhand, there's another controller on the market also...Armydog uses that one. Good luck!

ReefAngel. I think the apex beats both controllers hands down as did the reviews when I was looking for what I wanted, but it really comes down to what you need to control.

Not to steal this thread but I have thought about this as well. I have a aquacontroller jr. Seems to do everything I need. I do not need light control as the lights I use have their own controller. I really want something that does PH, ORP, Temp and leak detection. Who has had good success with those and which system are you using?

Apex does all of those. So do the others I am sue. They all work the same also from what I understand. It's all in the probe and the processing power of your controller.
