[class="nf"]When i got home tonight and i could smell something
like bunt wires from my tank. Then I saw that one one set of my t5s
weren't working( there are 3 sets of 2 lights- one ballast went out a
month ago and i jsut ordered a new one this week). So i am down to jsut
    one ballast and two bulbs.

So long story short I am thiniking it is time to up grader to mHs

I have a 75gal tank, with mainly softies and lps, but a couple of sps like caps and birdnests.

What do u guys think would be a good setup for me.

    Anyone have anything for sale[/class]

lol I run 6 T5's and love them. Why are you burning up ballasts? Are they in your canopy? If so they are probaly condensing moisture at night when they are cooling off. I smoked my first icecap ballast like that.

yes they are in the canppy. They are in a fixture,
I got this fixture off ebay last october, I really love the lights.tho
There are three set of 2 t5s, there is a ballast for each.
ALso the light has a remote that u set the times u want the each of the different sets of bulbs to come on/off

If I could fine someone in the area that could help be out with this fixture that would be GREAT, because i would love to keep it if i can get it go work good

No offense, but if I had a light fixture that was smoking and  could potentially cause a fire, I would be replacing it. It wouldn't be the first time I've heard of an ebay light that caused similar problems.

I never said that they were smoking, i jsut smells something, and there were not work.  I have had the light up and running for 11 months now with not problem of overheating or being cheap "ebay" lights.
These lights have worked great for me, I have been think that i dont have enough air movement around the light and ballast, SO i am going to look into that.
