Try iowa-aquaria.com ...you'll find plecos and bushynose close to you. If you're looking for something different - like gold nugget or tiger pleco - try FishShack in Manchester. Bill always has good prices on fancy plecos. Pet's Playhouse in CR and Coralville bay also have a good selection, but you'll pay more.

I looked for a while for a "different" pleco.

Breeders usually don't stray too far away from the bajo's, bristlenose, forms of albinos and what not. You can check some of the freshwater forums like Iowa Aquaria, fin-flap.com and QCfishkeepers.com. I just set up a fw tank and a local day care and wanted "different" stuff from locals. Rams where about as different as I could get. Unless I wanted african cichlids. Then there's a infinite supply.
