I have a DIY 150 watt metal halide light bulb with reflector and ballast. I purchased from another girs member about a year ago. I will sell it to ya for $50 bucks. Works really good and no noise.

    Petco in CR has a 24" T5 clearance priced @ $99.  If I remember it's a 4 bulb Coralife unit.

Hopefully sooner than I thought! The only thing really stopping me now is the weather. As soon as it gets over 50 degrees outside just for a weekend I'll be able to sand, stain, and seal my stand and canopy. Once that gets done, I'll put everything together, let the 40 run for a couple weeks, then move everyone over.

Oh, and technically my fixture is 30" long but the feet can be adjusted to any width you want, so you could move them to fit on a 24" tank. If you don't want something that'll be hanging over, thats cool /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif It is a weird size but it was one of the few that would fit a 20g long.

24 watt. They are just extra long to fit on the 20 long
