I live in Wellman about 20 minutes from Iowa City. Willing to drive or have shipped an anemone to host my 2 new clown fish. If anyone out there has something please let me know and we can work something out! Thanks! Not looking for anyone in particular so whatever you have let me know.

FYI, don't be disappointed if you get an anemone and your clowns don't host immediately. Sometimes it takes a while (as in months/years).

I agree with JB on this one, I have had a RBTA(nice one too probably 6-7 inches in diameter) in my tank for about 2 months now and my false will not go near it.  Pretty sure it is tank bred which doesn't help.  Although my emerald crab has made residence in it lately.  He is always buried in the tenticles by the foot not actually inside the anemone but you can barely see him with all the tenticles all over him.

Every situation is different, I have 2 Nems and 2 pairs Clowns the 1st set hosted in Three months, and the 2nd set a few days later. To aid in getting them to host , when feeding, feed above the Anemonie... This will aquaint them with each other...

    Good luck

you could also consider a euphylia (hammer, frogspawn, torch) as my clowns are hosted by all of these in the absence of an anemone....

That's good to know thanks alot! I'm planning on getting some frogspawn and an anemone so any information would be great! If having both of those in a tank would be a bad idea let me know. It is a 29 gallon biocube with protein skimmer new lights and uv steralizer.
