Looking for caleurpa

    Anyone have the fern leaf caleurpa algae? I need a small amount to get it started. Since most LFS don't stock macro algaes much, I need to ask here.

    If you wanna cruise down to Omaha I've got broad leaf and fern leaf caulerpas for you! I mean this as a joke since it's 2 hours away, but seriously, if you came over this way anytime soon I could get you some free algae and also some cheap frags(I'm overstocked!).

    I just had some from reefcleaners die and go sexual i my fuge (the lights in the DT won't sustain it so no worries)
    I should have PLENTY soon. there are tiny ones sprouting up all over my fuge. I'm worried it could have negative impacts on my other macros.

    LMK if it regrows. My emerald crab completely ate mine last time...every single piece!. He did his job tooo well! LOL

    Still gives me bad dreams. I've had it get out of control in a couple different tanks.

    Been there ...done that..but my one little crab had all of it gone from a 14 gal nano in just two weeks. Never grew back either. He is a hungry little guy. :)

    we'll see what it looks like when macna rolls around.

    perhaps I'll have some for ya when I head out desmoines for that.
    I actually threw a bunch out last night because I'm trying to get the areas it's growing in under control

    I have a ton of bladed caleurpa I recently threw out too. I wrapped a little around a rock and secured it with a zip tie and threw the rest out.
