I'm planning out my 125G build and want people to weigh in on feeding. In my biocube all I ever did was some flakes and every once in awhile a pinch of Rod's. For a top notch DT, will I want to set up cultures of some sort to constantly drip into the water column, or is that not necessary? I plan to have a little bit of everything coral wise, and a pretty good bioload for fish etc. Maybe I can get away with a couple different off the shelf pellets/flakes and a DIY frozen food. Suggestions?

Dont worry about dripping in cultures. If you want, get a brine shrimp hatchery and drop baby brine in there every day or so. They quickly loose their nutritional variety after they are a day old.

Ever heard the saying, variety is the spice of life? Holds true to feeding your fish. What is your favorite food? Now imagine eating it three times a day for a year.

Multiple small feeding is much better then a large feeding every night. Most fish are used to grazing or foraging for food all day on the reef. Not for 10 minutes each night. Auto feeder would be good, then frozen, some pellets, etc.

I feed several different types of pellets and flakes, Nori several times a week as well as PE mysis, Rods, Roggers and other frozen foods. Like Craig said a give them a variety. The big thing is keeping them well fed and happy and being able to control excess nutrients in the tank. Something I am struggling a little with and looking into better nutrient export as opposed to starving the animals in the tank.

ditto on that! Variety is the key! I feed multiple types of flakes, and several varieties of pellets, along with the clubs DIY mash, Rod's and grazing blocks. For your bigger tangs and such the grazing blocks are nice to have around.... love to try and go with foods that are not soy based ingredients **really helps with keeping water quality and fish health up to par.

Really, stick to common sense here.... if it's naturally found in their environment- that's what they'll thrive on. Diversity, and as natural as you can go with it.

I feed pellets, flake and frozen through out the week---As far as coral feeding, I feed Coral Frenzy (getting hard to find)or Reef Chili types of food twice a week. I'm currently finishing up a container of New Life Spectrum Reef Food Craig at AC&C had gotten in and the coral love it, but what sucks, is that food, I believe, has been discontinued and the price was almost unbelievable!------wish I would have gotten several containers.
