looking for live rock in or near cedar rapids

    Hi, I am a new member and I'm starting my 55 gallon fowlr. I was wondering if anybody close to me had any extra live rock for sale... a friend of mine told me about this site and said that everybody here was really cool and to check here before I spend $7 a pound at my lfs. I live in cedar rapids but if the price is right I might drive somewhere close. My number is 319 540 2561. Feel free to text or reply here. Thanks!!!!

    That sounds like a good deal. My only thing is, by the time I drive down there and back I might as well pay $7 lb here. Wish I lived closer. Cedar Rapids kinda sucks for good pet stores...

    Yea it does. Pet's Playhosue is the only good one but they dont carry much LR these days. I dont have any coraline on my rock right now. Working on getting my calcuim up so that it'll start to grow again. It is good seed rock. You get some base rock I'd trade you a couple pieces of the base with my LR so you can seed your tank.

    I have probably a couple hundred pounds of live rock. I'll sell you what you need for $2.50/lb. Also have some dry marco rock left over if you're interested in that as well.
