Hey, was hoping to find a deal buying all, Or a bundle of, the frags I wanted for my pico from one or two people so they could get a good chunk of business. I'm looking for some frogspawn, I'd like some superman zoas, And maybe some recommended sps, etc. Basically I'm shouting out to anybody who might want a decent chunk of business but is also willing to cut a bit of a deal and is willing to educate. I have a small pico that I want a nice frags for. It's an iq3 8litre. I wanna buy a bundle of stuff but I don't wanna overwhelm the tank so I need help deciding what might live or die.
    Cheers

I'd stick to zoas and mushrooms/leathers. I had a 3 gal pico tank for several years before I finally wrapped up that experiment. You can't really get the water stability you need for SPS because of the small water column. The water changes clean it up but they also affect the overall balance of the tank. Many zoas are hardy and actually enjoy some waste floating around. So from all I tried the only thing that did well were zoas and mushrooms/leathers. Palys and ricordeas did ok too.

Probably. But any corals it gets too close to won't. Frogspawn are easier to care for but in a pico environment I'd be worried about coral warfare going on with them. Maybe a frogspawn and some zoas would do okay as long as there was some gap between them.

Oh I have space for a gap or a few. I just wanted something for my anemone shrimp I intend on getting. I felt some frogspawn would look real nice. Just gotta make sure no one collides. Thanks for your help!

Anyone have any nice leathers then? My just put some zoas in there are they seem to be doing well. I haven't found many mush that wow me yet except for the latest article in Reef hobbyist. Did anyone catch the last issue?
