I'm hoping someone can post a realistic pic of a tank under 6 ATI T5 bulbs. I'm getting ready to upgrade to all ATI bulbs using a recommendation from Reef Geek's Blog (leaning towards all ATI for the PAR):

    4 x ATI Blue Plus

    1 x ATI Purple Plus

    1 x ATI Coral Plus

Blog says the output is "20K: A strong blue tint * most popular with our customers" and I'm afraid it might be too blue.

Here's a fairly realistic looking shot of my current setup (F to B):

    ATI Blue Plus

    ATI Blue Plus

    ATI Coral Plus

    Giesemann Pure Actinic

    Giesemann Aquablue +

    Giesemann Actinic +

I looking for coloration and keep sps/lps/zoas in a 120g. In my current tank the reds, purple, blues and yellows don't really "pop" and I've read that some of the Giesemann bulbs can wash out colors.

    Thanks!

    -Eric

    Current tank (this is a 120G - not a cube - software isn't cooperating):

    Just blue plus
I really liked this lighting, these pictures were taken with an ipad and my photo skills could be much better. The colors popped much better in person.

meant to add that my light splits the bulbs in half. One channel I have all blue plus (3 bulbs). And other channel is one blue plus coral plus and purple plus. The all blue looks perfect for morning and evenings. But just send me a text if you like some pics from my phone.

    Thanks for the pics!

I'm amazed that a combination of lights that all emphasize the blue spectrum look as good as they do.

I prefer a blue look my self. 20k gives a good look plus a little growth.

Yea its kinda crazy that the 4 blue plus bulbs dont wash out the other. I see it everyday so to me it has a crisp white look with all bulbs on. Ill know more opinions on sat when tank tour busts down my door lol.
