No I have no idea who this is. But again, if that is an actual picture of what he is selling, he either doesn't know what he is doing or he is a crook. There really isn't any other answer because the coral in that picture is DEAD! There really is no reason to debate this, the coral in that pic is DEAD. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/shocked.gif
Maybe there is a little piece still alive under one of the crabs or something but then it isn't worth no $50 and he couldn't very well say it is fine. If he is a knowledgeable reefer then I think he sent you the wrong pic and doesn't realize it. It doesn't matter but I have one of these and that is a DEAD favia skeleton. Mine looks similar to the good pic posted but much smaller.
Did I mention that the coral in that pic is DEAD?/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/cool.gif

This one will only set me back $60
The entire thing is bleached and receding, but again, it's in great shape and a heck of a deal!
I've been reefin 10 years. i'm actually insulted.

I sold my old lights to him and delivered them for a scolymia as 'delivery fee'.  While I am fine with the scoly I received (he had recently gotten it) I was appalled at most of the corals in his tank. He had a frag rack with probably 30 small frags in it. I bet 20 of them were dead and the other 10 were nearly so. Almost everything had some sort of STN or bleaching and overall was a pretty sorry looking tank except for the new corals (several nice scolys) he had recently gotten as inventory. He is a nice guy but I would be careful getting anything from him - unless it was something he just got in was still healthy.
