/Portals/0/activeforums_Attach/betterLRcomingback.jpgAnyone happen to know what this is? It was a failed shipment of maidens hair, but the LR it's on seems to be some sort of coral coming back to life? lol
Sorry for the crappy pic, it's a little brownish/purple hue, hard to tell... I can see where it's definately whatever the dead part looks like... so it's not just a hitchhiker, I believe it IS the "live rock"...

If it was SPS, it would definitely be dead. LPS has been known to come back and that's why some people never throw out their LPS after it dies. I can't tell from the pic but I would guess its a favia. Hard to tell unless you had a macro shot of it.

The suspense is killin meh... lol
I'll see if I can get a better picture tonight, but I think the cells are fairly immature since they lack color and just pretty much looks like brown flesh... I've been looking at the lps on liveaquaria but can't really find any that are brown (if it's the true color of a mature specimen) let alone any on there that are smaller grid-like.. only one I did find was this:
    http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+8&ddid=145517

I could perhaps see something like that on top of the very proportional skeleton I'm seeing.
