I have a female turning male "Lyertail" anthias I need to get rid of. He is much pinker than most lyertail I have seen. Got him with 2 other females from LA and they all were very pink. Here is the deal with this guy. He was a model citizen until I added 2 additional lyertails. After that he kind of went insane and killed both of them, my starski damsel, and a baby clown I had. So before I relocate him to my porcelain tank and give it a quick 100% water change with one quick push of the lever, I figured I would give him a chance somewhere else. I don't know how he will act in a new tank, but he warned.

    Located in Ankeny.

Lyretail Anthias from the Pacific Ocean turn into "pink/purple" males vs the "coral/orange" female, and the "reddish" male from the Indian Ocean. Maybe you had multiple males, or you didn't have lyretails...

I saw these anthias in person. As stated in @MillerTime@MillerTime 's post LA shipped them out as lyretails. They were very pink in color, all 5 came in that way, no high dorsals except 1 which was a definite male. Very similar resemblance to lyretails but yet off in color.

Also we found it very "ironic" that these were the lyretails that were $12-13 on black friday.

I had a bunch of these and the male died, about 4-5 weeks later one of the females switched, I swear it happened in a day and then he turned into a jerk, but he's mellowed out now that he has established his territory
