Marine Depot - group buy

Anyone interested in a Marine Depot group buy??  I need a few things.  If anyone is interested in going in, I plan to order next week (Wed or Thurs)- in time to have the order by our Tank tour - so if you're coming on the tour it would be a convenient time to get your stuff without having to travel extra.

I'm not aware of a GIRS discount.  The stuff I need is $33 - so we are up to $59 - only $116 more for free shipping.
The Selcon is one of the things I want to get.  My blue hippo tang has HLLE.  Have you used the selcon previously?  Does it work for HLLE?

 

I plan to order Wed or Thursday - but could probably also wait another day.  Mainly I would like to be sure to receive the order by Oct 16th - so that if anyone orders & goes on the tank tour, it will be easy for people to get their purchase w/o extra traveling.  So no problem waiting til you know.

 

Matt - FYI - even if we reach the $175 mark for free shipping, MarineDepot still charges the $20 special handling fee for the salt.  Didn't know if you were aware of that.

 

So - depending on whether or not Matt is in - and whether anyone else needs/wants anything - if we don't qualify for the free shipping at Marine Depot - maybe there's a possibility for an order from Big Al's Online.  Anyone ever order from there?  Their website says you only need $75 for free shipping.....   Also, I've got a coupon from Spring Fest for 10% off from Big Al's - but don't know if that's for a single item or the entire order.

 

Great xmasia!!!  With your portion of the order we will be able to either 1) get the order with Marine Depot for free shipping (if Matt wants the ESV salt), or 2) Order from Big Al's and get free shipping.

 

Bela - We'll wait until Wednesday for Matt to decide whether he is in or not.  If he is not, then the order will go to Big Al's online.  They only have the fish food that you want though in the 7 oz size ($8.99).  Let me know if you want that or not (and one or two of that size).  They have the medium size pellets or the Formula two small pellets in the 14 oz size, but not the small size Formula one pellets.
Also, if we go with Big Al's I'll use my 10% off coupon.  Hopefully it will apply to the entire order.  If not, I'll use it on the most expensive item, and then spread that discount out everyone proportionally.

 

Ok - so I need to hear from Matt regarding ESV salt - and Bela - what's your decision on the fish food if Matt is not in and we go with Big Al's Online for the order????
As for payment, I'm not set-up for paypal, so I go on the 'honor' system.  I've bought before with Matt and Bela - so I trust that both you will pay up.  Xmasia -  I'll assume you're good for payment.  Otherwise since you are only in Urbandale, and I'm in WDM I'd have to come and stalk your house!
Once I hear from Matt and Bela I will place the order.  Hopefully late tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.

Had a response from Matt - and he is not in the order.  So the order will go to Big Al's online.  Xmasia - I've got your two items.
Bela - waiting to hear what you want to do.  Just the selicon???  Or one or two of the fish food.  If we get 10% off the entire order, your cost will actually come in just slightly less than the total would have been at MarineDepot.
