Anyone else try these things out yet? I just got mine today. Pump and mount is getting a good cleaning and then I'll install them and see how they do. They look and feel more heavy duty and stout that's for sure. A few less blades, but much thicker especially where they join the cage.

I didn't have any luck with the standard impellers. Just way to fragile IMO. One broke after only a day or two of use. Popped in the spare and that at least lasted a few months. Pretty sure it just took a pellet through the thing to just take it out. I don't see that happening with these.

I've never had them blow but heard small snails can shred then too. News to me on the new propeller, will have to keep it in mind.

    I like that!

Let me know how you like them.

Do they have better flow or more possibly?

I've heard less flow because less surface area per rotation to push the water as there are fewer blades. I run mine on 30% anyway so I'll probably get them if I have any issues as none of mine have broken yet. Though I can see how easily they could.

It would definitely be a plus cause Ive had many propellers break cause of dwarf cerith snails get in there

Up and running again, hopefully with no more broken props.
Also back to full flow now that I have an A&B working propeller set again.

It seems so, but without doing a side by side comparison of new vs. old its hard to say. Moves plenty of water in my 250 DD.

Looks like the XF130 is getting the rugged impellers as standard with the new units. I don't know if that's in addition to the regular ones or completely replacing them. I would bet the XF150 will be getting the same.
