May 19th Fragging Demonstration

Thanks to Matt (ninjazx777) for offering to host our Fragging Demo Meeting on May 19th. Thanks to all of the people who voted on the meeting date.


The meeting will start at 10AM and be done at 2PM. The address is 1919 E 21st St. Please don't arrive early as Matt works night and the morning is his time to sleep! If you need directions to his house, his number is 515-557-5165.


This is a fantastic opportunity for club members to come and learn from other club members. Also this is an opportunity for those that are wanting to check out the club to come! None members can come to one meeting a year and hopefully afterwards they choose to join /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif.


We will be doing a fragging demo and different people will be donating corals that can be fragged. Members will get a frag for free just for coming! There will also be other corals there to purchase if you decide you would like a great opportunity to stock your tank!

jazzybio13: We will be searching for all different kinds of corals to frag. In order to frag some of the tougher ones, we have to be able to find them for purchase!

tje22: There will be a lot of opportunities coming in the future for you to get involved! Would love to hear thoughts on how we can best make opportunities for you to get involved! Maybe not in this specific thread, but PM me or I will create a new thread at some point!

Thanks for the voting! There is a reason why I waited to start this process and didn't just through a meeting together in two days. I asked for the clubs input and WILLINGNESS TO HOST. We only had one person who was willing to host, so the only option was Sundays. In the future, we all have the options to host, so we can try and get some Saturday options!


We will be moving forward quickly to get the next couple meetings scheduled.


Also remember, this is the time to bring someone who is on the site but not a paid club member. They can come once a year as a way to get them to join the club!

 

The voting has closed and May 19th is the date of the fragging demonstration!

Would anyone be interested in buying frags of a couple acro colonies for $5.00 at this event? If there is enough interest, I will go buy some colonies to frag on top of the free frags ALL CLUB MEMBERS will get.
