Yeah I saw those the other day. They kinda look like a big wireless router mixed with a dvd player haha. I'm not sure how they perform but i know the AI's are tried and ture!

i was thinking this as well. It uses the same LEDs as what the "macna version" of the Vega had. But only 3 pucks instead of 4. Plus with the wireless and built in control it does seem quite a bit bulkier. Would be interesting to see the pricing on these and see how it compares. If its direct competition for the AI it may drive pricing down a little.

So I called a couple company's in California about those stark LEDs and they want 499$ each. Same price as the AI's and close to the ecotech. The guy said that they are relatively new, but he does more sales of the AI's and ecotechs ten fold
So for the price, I'd stick with the AI's, as they look better and probably perform better as well. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

Doesn't AI hold a patent on the "puck" design for LEDs?

Good question, but apparently not. Doesn't radeons utilize the same thing.??
