    Hi Guys,
I have a 33 gallon salt water mixing tank and i just discovered the heater was unplugged.
I don't know how long it was unplugged.
The water is clear, does not smell and was "cool" to the touch not ice cold.  I was just mixing up a new batch of salt water and had to add salt.
Is there anything i need to worry about here other than water temperature?  I plan on testing the water after it warms up (I thought maybe giving it 24 hours or so). but is there anything else i should be concerned about other than normal parameters?
    Thanks
    Mary

Is this just your water change water? If so, just let it warm back up, check the salinity and it will be fine.

Don't worry about it Mary...it will be fine. The heater is only so that your tank doesn't have a massive temp fluctuation when you do your water changes.

Thanks AJ that was my thought as well and the heat also helps the salt dissolve. But i didn't want to hurt anything..

    :)

It can likely speed things up, but if you are aging your water properly, I think the dissolving quicker is a non issue
