Does anyone in the Cedar Rapids area have one of these for sale or use. Has anyone had any luck with these?

    Roman,
Do you have aptasia or mojano?  I had dozens of aptasia in my tank a few months ago, first killed them by squirting kalk paste on them but couldn't keep up and they were still multiplying.  Picked up 3 peppermint shrimp here in CR and they never touched them.  Then I bought 4 more at AC&C during one of their sales and all my aptasia except one big one were gone in less than 2 mos. in my 40br and even today I still have that one that I'm too lazy to kill off with kalk paste but no more have shown up.  I would highly recommend you get a few of them from AC&C and let them work if you have aptasia.

I have both. Need something to irradicate. Tired of the Joes juice, aiptasia x, kalk paste, etc. Peppermint shrimp work as long as they dont turn into a delicacy for one of my fish.

Have you tried a file fish? I bought one for $15 and within two weeks all the aptasia is gone.Good luck!

A Copperband butterfly will take care of them as well.

I should say make sure you get one that is eating first if you go that route.

Keep in mind there are two different kinds of peppermint shrimp, the one species won't touch apstasia.

Ok guys. How about mojanos? What will eat these. I have a filefish already. Think they multiply too fast for him or he doesnt care for them anymore.Has anyone used a mojano wand before or is electrocution cruel and unusual punishment?

I have one, it works, it just takes for ever. And you need something to help fight em back after you kill them. I have 2 matted file fish and 2 copperbands and it is slowly getting better. When I have time I zap the big ones which the fish will not touch.

Is it the aiptasia that keeps coming back or the mojanos.I would be happy just to get them in check.
