mp40 gen 2 controller for sale

I just upgraded some of my gen2 mp40's to the new style controller so I am selling one of the gen2 controllers. I am only selling just the controller nothing else. It works fine. Would be a cheap way to upgrade a mp20
I am asking $40 or trade for sps corals, tangs, or bengi cardinal

 

So this would be all I need to change my MP20 to a 40? I never really understood how the upgrade worked sense the pumps is the same size.

 

Gered it is all you would need to upgrade yours. Better grab it up!

Just an FYI, you probably still need to get a power supply as the upgrade kit does not include a new power supply. You can order one from EcoTech for $50, or take your chances and get one of the universal ones from Radio Shack for about $15....and the MP20s use the same power supply as the MP10; but different than the MP40. I learned this the hard way.

the radio shack ones are 1.5 amp, eco tech needs 2 amp it WILL kill it!

it actually needs a 12v 3 amp output ac/dc converter the mp20 use a 2 amp output here are a couple of links for converters on ebay that should work the first one is grounded the second one is not
